We return to the Club at the Cafe Royal with a stellar panel who will discuss how we can use digital to drive discoverability and sell more Children’s books.
Our chair for the evening is Jo Henry (VP, Insight and Analytics, Nielsen Book), her speakers include, Jane Harris (Executive Director at Bonnier Zaffre), Louie Stowell (Children’s Author) and Arabella Stein (Senior Agent at The Bright Group International).
The Children’s sector is widely accepted as enjoying a golden age in terms of sales. However, print is still overwhelmingly the format of choice with only 15% of sales coming from digital formats.
The panel will discuss the shape of the Children’s market, what trends we’re seeing, why kids still aren’t embracing digital reading despite the rise of mobile and digital consumption in other areas of children’s entertainment and how we can use digital and transmedia storytelling to sell more Children’s books.
They’ll be plenty of time to network with authors, agents, publishers and suppliers to the publishing industry, before and after the talk.
