Jacquelyn is an entrepreneur. Starting her working life as a management consultant in the tech industry, she soon developed a passion for social enterprise. She left the corporate world to co-found Stemettes, an award-winning social enterprise that inspires girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM) careers. Looking for a new challenge, she now consults for startups while running her new business, Salomé, on the side. Salomé is a literary magazine for emerging female writers and aims to tackle the lack of published female writers by giving women the platform, confidence and experience to get their work published. Jacquelyn is also on the Tech Talent Charter steering committee, is a writer, was an elected candidate for the Women’s Equality Party in 2016 and is passionate about combatting the stigma around mental health.
